[Rx2021] Spring 2020 Professional Electives Schedule

Hello Class of 2021,

Registration will begin in just under two weeks for the Spring 2020 (2204) semester.  The Spring 2020 semester is slated to begin on Monday, January 6th and ends on Friday, April 17th.  Spring 2020 Finals week is the following week, April 20-25, 2020.

Some friendly reminders regarding registration:

·         I will automatically register you for your regular Spring 2020 schedule of classes (12 credits) starting Monday, November 11th.

·         P1-P3 PharmD students may register up to 19 credits in the Fall and Spring term.  If you register above 19 credits, you will be assessed additional tuition/fees based on your residency status.

**If you are interested in registering for professional elective credit(s), you are welcome to begin emailing me now with your registration request using your Pitt email.  To expedite this process, please include your PeopleSoft ID (7 digits) and the catalog/class number in your email.  If special permission is required, forward the coordinator consent in your email.  I will be processing registrations for professional electives on a first come, first served basis when registration opens.  Your last opportunity to make changes to your schedule is 4pm on Friday, January 17th.

If there are any changes in the elective schedule between now and registration, updates will be posted on the bulletin board outside Student Services.  We will be sending out a finalized Spring core course schedule as soon as it is available.

HOLDS:
If you have a hold, you will not be able to register until your hold is resolved and your elective spot will not be held.  Holds may be placed on a student’s account, for instance, for failure to submit requested documentation to certain offices or failure to pay outstanding debts to the University.  I reviewed holds that may prevent registration and have reached out to any students who may be affected by a hold.  If you have a hold that may prevent your registration, please touch base with me when your hold is lifted so that I can register you.  If your hold is not lifted and you are not registered by the deadline for continuing students to register per the academic calendar, you may be assessed late registration fees by the University Registrar’s Office.
