SSHP would like to welcome ASHP guest speaker, Vicki Basalyga, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, on October 26th at lunch in Salk 402.  She will be discussing the topic of resiliency and burn out in the pharmacy profession.

Dr. Basalyga is the Director of the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists at ASHP where she serves as an information resource and provides guidance to ASHP members regarding science and scientific developments affecting pharmacy practice in health-systems. She also serves as secretary to the Section Executive Committee and Council Secretary for the ASHP's Council on Therapeutics. Dr. Basalyga is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, receiving her Pharm.D. from Duquesne University and completed an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
