We are pleased to announce that the preliminary schedule for the 2012 ASEEES Convention, Nov. 15-18, 2012, at the New Orleans Marriott, is now available at http://www.aseees.org/convention/program.html
We now have a new searchable online program. Click on the link “Go directly to the 2012 Convention program online” to see the searchable online schedule. You can find your own panel/roundtable/meeting schedule(s) by clicking on “Search the Online Program” and entering your name under the People tab or your panel/roundtable/meeting title under the Sessions tab. Please note that you must be logged in through the ASEEES member site to use the “Add to My Schedule” feature.
If you have not requested AV equipment, please note that the deadline for Audio Visual Requests is JULY 1, 2012. We DO NOT pay for PowerPoint/LCD equipment; it is too expensive to rent. Please send AV requests to wwalker at pitt.edu.
The deadline to submit changes to the final program is Sept 4, 2012. All changes should be sent to wwalker at pitt.edu
ALL PARTICIPANTS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, must register and pay the registration fee: http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration.html The Early Registration Deadline is August 17, 2012. Registration rates will go up after that date. Foreign scholars and scholars outside the field of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies who are not current members of ASEEES MUST register for the convention at the non-member rate. All those in the field from the US MUST be current members of ASEEES.
