SAVE THE DATES for Spring Peer-Coach Training

UPMC PhysicianTHRIVE and the Pitt School of Medicine are offering Peer-Coach Training this spring. Peer Coaching is a collaborative partnership to help an individual (coachee) achieve and fulfill desired goals. Trained coaches help guide the coachee to achieve person and professional growth and goals leading to a better quality of personal and professional life.

This coaching curriculum is designed specifically for physician and scientist faculty to learn the peer coaching philosophy background, tools, fieldwork practice, and skills to be effective. After four (4) half-day sessions, with associated field work and assessments, participates will have been given a broad background and understanding of peer-coaching. The skillset learned during the peer coach training will, in addition, provide the participate with a toolbelt of techniques that will make them more effective leaders.

Please ensure you can attend all four sessions in person prior to applying to this program – attendance to all sessions is mandatory.

All training sessions will be in Scaife Hall on Fridays from 8am to 12pm:
Session 1: March 28
Session 2: April 25
Session 3: May 2
Session 4: June 6

If you are interested in participating, please RSVP to Jen Szczepaniak (jennifer.szczepaniak at chp.edu<mailto:jennifer.szczepaniak at chp.edu>) and SAVE THE DATES!
