UPMC PhysicianTHRIVE and the Pitt School of Medicine are offering Peer-Coach Training this spring. Peer Coaching is a collaborative partnership to help an individual (coachee) achieve and fulfill desired goals. Trained coaches help guide the coachee to
achieve person and professional growth and goals leading to a better quality of personal and professional life. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> This coaching curriculum is designed specifically for physician and scientist faculty to learn the peer coaching philosophy background, tools, fieldwork practice, and skills to be effective. After four (4)
half-day sessions, with associated field work and assessments, participates will have been given a broad background and understanding of peer-coaching. The skillset learned during the peer coach training will, in addition, provide the participate with a toolbelt
of techniques that will make them more effective leaders.<br>
