If you are an associate professor with a minimum of two years of experience in your current faculty appointment, apply to join us for the Mid-Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar. There, you'll expand your network, employ strategies for career and leadership development, and brainstorm ways to advance women in academic medicine and science!
What to Expect?
The curriculum is highly focused on gaining leadership knowledge and skills that will enable you to better prepare for advancement and promotion. Over three days, you'll take part in engaging plenaries and panels, interactive small group breakouts, and will have ample opportunity to network with peers at a similar stage of their career and facing similar challenges. Who Should Apply?
The Mid-Career seminar is designed for women physicians and scientists with an appointment at an AAMC member school of medicine, with a minimum of two years of experience (appointed on/before December 2022) as an Associate Professor. Applicants must actively be seeking leadership opportunities to advance to the next stage of their career, including full professorship or other advanced leadership positions, as the curriculum focuses on the skills necessary for career advancement within academic medicine and science.
Due to high demand and limited capacity, we are unable to accept registrants outside of the program's target audience.
The application period will close on Thursday, August 22, at 11:59 PM ET. Applications will then be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of their decision status by October 1, 2024. We encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible to be considered.
