The Wellcome Trust is considering allowing its staff to move to a four-day workweek without any loss in pay in an effort to increase productivity and happiness, a move that would make it one of the bigger companies to try this workweek model. The move might have a profound effect on the gender gap, as both men and women would have more flexibility to care for children.
