Hi Colleagues, Grad students, PharmD students and Post Docs!!

Please see the email below from our student AAPS group. This has always been a wonderful event and since Pitt is the hosting university this year I would really hope to see a great response from our students and post docs.

WE SIMPLY CANT LOSE OUT TO WVU or DUQUESNE!!   Pitt had always taken home the most awards and it adds great value to our annual report and academic standing, not to mention your CV’s and Panther Pride!

 Please consider submitting an abstract. It can be something you’ve already presented. We can’t do this without you.

Faculty, please encourage your students  ( PharmD, MS, PhD) and Post Docs to submit. Thanks so much for your participation.

Dear faculty members,

This is a kind reminder that the early abstract submission deadline for the 12th PSRS is Feb. 5th (this Friday). Abstracts submitted after will not be considered for podium presentations. It is not only a great opportunity for students to present their work in front of peers and faculties from three universities. Winners will also receive a certificate and a prize for at least $100.

Since the PITT Pharmacy is the host for this year's virtual PSRS, it would be fantastic to see a great turnout from our own students. We would really appreciate it if you can encourage your mentees and students to participate. Detailed information for abstract submissions and the PSRS is below:

Submission deadlines:
Early Submission: Friday, February 5th, 2021 11:59 PM. (considered for both the poster and podium presentations)
Final submission: Friday, February 12th, 2021 11:59 PM. (considered only for the poster presentations)
Submissions later than Feb 5th will only be considered for poster presentations; submissions after Feb. 12th will not be accepted.

Requirements: Word limit (Main Body): 350 words. There is no specific format required for the abstracts. Abstracts presented at a previous meeting can be considered.

Prizes:
Four podium presentations will be elected, with the 1st place winning $150 PLUS gift ($50 worth), 2nd place winning $150, 3rd places (x2) winning $100.
Poster presentations: 1st places (x5) winning $100; 2nd places (x5) winning gifts ($50 worth).
