Dear Class of 2021,

Thank you for your patience with this process. We hope you doing well on your rotations despite these challenging and turbulent times. If you recall, given the circumstances surrounding the spring semester, it was decided by the Curriculum Assessment Committee that reviews of your presentation portfolio by external reviewers would be put on hold till further notice.

Remember that this is a review of your presentation portfolio so please ensure your presentation portfolio and your CV have been updated. Be proud of your work you and what have done and let yourself stand out.

As we move into the fall, we have gained considerable experience with various meeting based platforms and we would like to provide you with this valuable experience. We have been continuously working with our reviewers and it is clear they would like the opportunity to share this experience with you. You can access the presentation portfolio review schedule by clicking the link below. I will be adding bios of the reviewers, but I strongly encourage you to seek out their bios through LinkedIn or any other platform.

Please note the following changes to reviews and how they are conducted.

  * Additional reviewers and time slots will be added (we are still recruiting reviewers and understand the reviews could extend to the end of October.)
  * Reviews will be 15 minutes long, with a 5 minute buffer, however reviews could go longer
  * All reviews will be accessed through Zoom or Teams. Links to each Zoom or Teams will be posted 24 hrs in advance so please check back or email Matt directly. Some reviewers will be using their own Zoom or Teams link.
  * Remember to arrive at your scheduled slot on time. DO NOT be tardy.
  * Dress Professionally. Though this is virtual, the same rules of professionalism apply.
  * Though the reviewers will have access to your portfolio, you will want to do a share screen with them.
  * You are encouraged to practice your elevator speech prior to meeting your reviewer.
Additional Comments:

  * Bios will be listed at the end of this document.
  * DO NOT Remove someone's name and put your name. If I see this, you will be reported Dr. Benedict and Dr. Howrie.
  * If a time slot is a challenge to meet due to rotations, but you really want to meet with a reviewer, please let me know and I will work to connect you.

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks so much,

Matt
