Hello P3s,
Bayer Healthcare, in Whippany, NJ, is offering a 10-week APPE, in medical communications for Pitt Pharmacy students. The preceptor is Dr. Tara Pummer, Deputy Director of Medical Communications. She is a drug information specialist, and was faculty with us at Pitt Pharmacy prior to relocating to NJ. The description of the rotation is on E*Value.
She is able to precept a total of three students from Pitt, with one student in each of these block pairs:
* Block 1 and block 2
* Block 3 and block 4
* Block 5 and block 6
Interested students should send their CV and letter of interest, and which block pair you would prefer (rank preference), to Dr. Pummer at tara.pummer at bayer.com<mailto:tara.pummer at bayer.com>, by Friday, November 20th. Her full contact information is below. Bayer will select the students, and students will be notified by late December.
