NACDS Foundation Executive Fellowship – Accepting Applications

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Executive Fellowship Program. This post-graduate fellowship at the NACDS Foundation offers pharmacists the opportunity for a unique professional and educational experience that provides a cornerstone for a rewarding career in healthcare.

During the one year program, the Executive Fellow will work collaboratively with healthcare and research professionals on projects that enhance patient care and improve health outcomes. Through this experience, the Executive Fellow develops skills in project management and design of innovative patient care research studies fostering an understanding of key issues impacting public health through engagement in Foundation activities. While assisting the Foundation to launch new programs and manage existing ones, the Executive Fellow contributes to meaningful work that advances population health.

Please be advised that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the NACDS office is currently working remote. However, the remote status of the NACDS office is subject to change. NACDS will work with the candidate selected for the Executive Fellowship to address pandemic-related considerations.

We encourage motivated individuals who will have graduated from an ACPE accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program by June 2021 to apply for this unique opportunity. Applicants are required to submit a current resume or CV, a copy of the applicant’s pharmacy school transcript, a cover letter explaining their career goals, relevant experiences, and interest in the Fellowship, and one letter of recommendation from a pharmacy dean, faculty member, preceptor, or a recent pharmacy employer. Applications will be accepted online through December 14, 2020.
