P2 and P3 students,
By now you have read the Chancellor’s message regarding classes for the rest of the semester as it relates to COVID-19. Students in professional and graduate degree programs throughout Pitt have criteria that must be met through mechanisms other than classroom teaching. The PharmD Program is such a program.

Take Note!

1. Experiential Learning will continue as it was scheduled for the most part, including during the week of March 16 if it was scheduled for you. It may also serve as time for makeup hours. You will receive specific guidance for your class from either Professor Skledar or Dr. Pschirer within the next few hours.

ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education) specifies requirements that must be met prior to graduation. No flexibility exists in the hours required or types of experiences.

If you have a situation that needs to be addressed regarding Experiential Learning, contact Dr. Pschirer or Professor Skledar or Mrs. Schmotzer as you normally would.

2. Classes will be taught remotely beginning on March 23. You will receive future emails and communication through Canvas/Courseweb regarding the start of classes.

Wash your hands and stay healthy!
PDK
