[Rx2021] Extended Deadline for PharmD students

Hi everyone,

This is a reminder that our deadline for poster submission is extended to the end of tomorrow (14th January)!!!!  I highly encourage everyone to submit an abstract. In this year, we offer more awards for posters. In addition, we set up a new award for PharmD students and undergraduate students! This is a great opportunity to sharpen your presentation skills and get to know the research your peers are involved in. You will have the chance to win cash awards and certificates. It is a great opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and visiting scholars to build connections! In addition, it is also an opportunity for PharmD students to know the research from different labs!

Dear students, post-doctoral researchers and faculty,



We cordially invite everyone to the 11th Annual Pitt-Duq-WVU AAPS Student Chapters Research Symposium hosted by the PiTT-Pharmacy AAPS Student Chapter. This symposium is conducted in collaboration with AAPS student chapters in Duquesne University and West Virginia University. Each chapter hosts the symposium on a rotating basis, and Duquesne will be the main host this year. AcroBiosystems will sponsor all the awards for this event!



The event will be held at the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, on January 17th 2020.The symposium will occur from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. We will send more details and the final agenda very soon, but for now, we would like to invite you to submit your abstracts.



As noted in the flyer, to be considered for oral presentation, we ask that abstracts be submitted by Friday, January 3, 2020. Those selected for oral presentation will be notified by Friday, January 10, 2020.



Friday, January 10, 2020 is also the deadline to submit abstracts for poster presentation. All submitted abstracts will be accepted for poster presentation, so we encourage everyone to submit!  It is a great opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and visiting scholars to build connections! PharmD students are welcome and highly encouraged to submit abstracts! We have an award for the “Best PharmD Poster”.



This is a great opportunity to sharpen your presentation skills and get to know the research your peers are involved in. More details can be found in the attached flyer. In addition, you all have great chances to win cash awards.



We ask that abstracts be kept to a maximum of 350 words. There is no specific format required for the abstracts, and abstracts presented at a previous meeting may be submitted.



The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, January 3rd 2020 (Oral presentation) and Friday, January 10th, 2020 (Poster Only).
