[Rx2021] PittPharmacy Local Patient Counseling Competition

APhA-ASP Patient Care Committee is hosting the PittPharmacy Local Patient Counseling Competition on Wednesday, February 5th from 4-9pm. Students of all classes (P1-P4) are encouraged to compete!

The Local Competition is modeled after the National Competition. Competitors will individually counsel a Standardized Patient for 5 minutes after taking 5 minutes to prepare and review the patient chart. A list of 10 drugs will be provided a week before the competition so that competitors can prepare for the case. Top 10 individuals will receive a prize from APhA-ASP. The winner will compete on behalf of PittPharmacy in the National Competition at the 2020 APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition on March 20-23 in National Harbor, MD and will receive reimbursement for traveling.
