Hello P3s,

We just received word on availability in block 5 for one student at the FDA (Office of Generic Drugs, Dr. Andrew Potter), and one student at a new industry site for us in Cambridge, MA, called Biogen.

The FDA opportunity is at the Office of Generic Drugs, with Dr. Andrew Potter, CDR, US Public Health Service, Regulatory Project Manager. This site description is in eValue.

The Biogen opportunity is with the Regulatory Sciences team, and students will be exposed to various aspects of regulatory sciences such as strategy, labeling, chemistry, manufacturing, controls, advertising/promotion, and policy. The student will have an opportunity to perform strategic and tactical activities to support each aspect of regulatory affairs, as well as opportunities to learn more about the disease states in which Biogen conducts research. This site is new for Pitt Pharmacy in 2020-21, so the full site description is not yet built in eValue, but will be as one of you are selected.

If you are interested in either of these new opportunities, please send your CV and letter of interest to me/Dr. Pschirer by Friday 2/14 end of day.

Thank you,

Prof. Skledar
