This is a big announcement from Pennsylvania, related to student immunizers! See below for information about how to get involved! We encourage you to write a reflection about your immunizer experience for your portfolios after you do this great work.
P3s: For those of you that need IPPE project hours, this would be a terrific way to obtain those hours. Please fill out the IPPE patient care project hours form/turn in your reflection to me (and to your portfolio) once you complete this!

Pennsylvania Expands Authority of Supervised Pharmacy Interns to Administer Vaccines:
To become an immunizer, you need to complete the attached form and email directly to the PA State Board of Pharmacy: ST-PHARMACY at pa.gov<mailto:ST-PHARMACY at pa.gov>. The form MUST be completed prior to administering your first vaccination. You MUST have completed the APhA Immunization Training AND have an active CPR certificate. As written, you can email the form as soon as this evening (with the supporting information from your supervising pharmacist preceptor), and begin immunizing tomorrow, under supervision.
Please review the full waiver prior to completing the form and beginning to immunize.
