Hello P3s and P4s,

This is a big announcement from Pennsylvania, related to student immunizers! See below for information about how to get involved! We encourage you to write a reflection about your immunizer experience for your portfolios after you do this great work.

P3s: For those of you that need IPPE project hours, this would be a terrific way to obtain those hours. Please fill out the IPPE patient care project hours form/turn in your reflection to me (and to your portfolio) once you complete this!

BIG NEWS: Pennsylvania Expands Authority of Supervised Pharmacy Interns to Administer Vaccines

YOU can be a part of ending this pandemic as an immunizer!

Pennsylvania Expands Authority of Supervised Pharmacy Interns to Administer Vaccines:

To become an immunizer, you need to complete the attached form and email directly to the PA State Board of Pharmacy: ST-PHARMACY at pa.gov<mailto:ST-PHARMACY at pa.gov>. The form MUST be completed prior to administering your first vaccination. You MUST have completed the APhA Immunization Training AND have an active CPR certificate.
