The email below was sent on Monday from the University’s Student Health Service to all students that have not submitted their proof of immunization.  As a professional/graduate student you MUST comply with the University requirement!  The deadline is October 1, 2019.   If you fail to comply, the consequences are real and you will not be eligible to register for the spring term.  Don’t let this happen!!

As a CastleBranch account holder you have access to your immunization record that you can use to provide to the University’s Student Health Service.  If you have questions or need assistance downloading your record, please contact Ms Anna Schmotzer (copied on this email) or CastleBranch directly at 888-723-4263.

To submit your immunization records, please go to http://www.studentaffairs.pitt.edu/shs/immunization-submission/ for the details.

Dear Pitt Student,

Your health and safety matters to us! Recent outbreaks of highly contagious and preventable diseases at other universities have highlighted the importance of protecting the Pitt community from unnecessary risks.

Please be advised that to date, Student Health Services (SHS) has not received complete documentation of your immunizations as required by the University of Pittsburgh's Immunization Policy (#06-01-02) Requirements. The policy states:

"...all incoming full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate/professional students must submit proof of immunization to Student Health Service against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Varicella (Chicken Pox)....as a condition of a ttendance at the University of Pittsburgh."

You must submit to the University Student Health Service documentation of your immunizations by October 1, 2019.

Failure to comply will prevent your registration for the upcoming Spring Term.

If you are not immunized, you can receive vaccinations at the Student Health Service. We have vaccination walk-in hours Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm; no appointment necessary.
