Jesse Irwin: Jesse is a 2017 Dietrich School of Arts & Science graduate. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Jesse is a News Anchor and Features Reporter for the CBS and FOX affiliate in Joplin (MO) & Pittsburg (KS), and co-hosts the KOAM Morning News on FOX 14. While at Pitt, Jesse began honing his craft with WPTS Radio and The Pitt News, and eventually UPTV. Those led to him co-creating and hosting Pitt Tonight, the university's late night talk show – earning his school its first-ever regional Emmy nominations. Previous stops include the IMG Sports Network, KDKA-TV, a creative marketing agency, and an internship with Conan on TBS. Jesse continues to emcee events around North America, and says he wouldn't be where or who he is today without the people he met at Pitt.

Julius Boatwright: Julius obtained his Master of Social Work degree with a Certificate in Human Services Management from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Boatwright also earned an undergraduate degree in Communication from Pitt.  Julius serves as the Founder and CEO with Steel Smiling. They bridge the gap between black people and mental health support through education, advocacy, and awareness. They're going to expose every black adult in the country to a mental health experience that improves their quality of life by 2050. Since 2015, they've coordinated over 1,000 hours of mental health trainings and therapy for black community members in Western Pennsylvania. Julius has consulted with and trained the PA Department of Labor & Industry, Community Care Behavioral Health, and the Department of Human Services. His work has been featured on media outlets like the Huffington Post, NPR, and TEDxPittsburgh. He recently wrote an article about mental health in the black community that the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published. After being shared by multi-platinum recording artist Michelle Williams (formerly of Destiny's Child) and nationally syndicated radio show host Charlamagne Tha God, it went viral surpassing 20,000 impressions online in less than 3 days. Charlamagne also quoted Julius during a televised interview with NBA champion, all-star, and finals MVP Andre Iguodala. The quote affirms, "Saying no is a radical act of self-care that can positively impact our mental health."
