[Rx2021] CastleBranch Renewal

Dear P1, P2, and P3 Students,

Please find attached to this message instructions for renewing your CastleBranch account.  All students are required to renew your account and complete your PA Fingerprint and DHS Child Abuse background checks as directed in the instructions.  This must be done by April 26, 2019, in order to be able to start your upcoming IPPE or APPE rotations. This process may take several weeks, so please begin the renewal process immediately.

All students must also have a 2-Step Tuberculin Skin Test completed and the results posted to CastleBranch by April 26, 2019.  The necessary form is attached to this e-mail.  Your HIPAA Training module must be retaken and posted as well.  The HIPAA training site will not allow you to redo this until it has been one year since you last did it, but you must do it when you have passed the one year point.  While you are looking in your CastleBranch profile, please update any other items that are required.  Your PA Pharmacy Intern License, CPR card, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogen and Infection Prevention trainings, and all immunizations should be complete and uploaded to CastleBranch.  Failure to have all of this taken care of by the due date will prevent you from starting your scheduled rotations and your summer underserved experiences (should you want to do the underserved experiences in the summer). Regarding urine drug screenings: Do not schedule a urine drug screen at this time.  If one of your rotations requires a urine drug test, please notify Ms. Schmotzer one month before the rotation and she will send you instructions.
