[Rx2021] PittPharmacy Medical Reserve Corps Volunteer Campaign

Hello all!

APhA-ASP is excited to host Stacey Randolph, from the Allegheny County Health Department, on Wednesday, February 20 in Room 456 from 12-1! Stacey will be talking about how student pharmacists and pharmacists can join the Medical Reserve Corps as a volunteer! In case of an emergency or natural disaster, MRC members would be called upon to help county and state official protect human health! This may include dispensing emergency medications (such as antibiotics), administering vaccines, patient screening, medication reconciliations, and more.

If you are interested in joining the Medical Reserve Corps or learning more, please join APhA-ASP on February 20 as we welcome Stacey Randolph. Stacey will be kicking off our 2-week long campaign to increase student and pharmacist registration to the MRC. Students will be tabling in the atrium daily from 12-1 to sign students and other health professionals up! Please note: if you would like to register on your own, please list “PittPharmacy” in the “How did you hear about the site?” section of the form so we can best track our efforts. Our goal is to help enroll 30 people!
