[Rx2021] Elective Industry APPE Opportunity: Bayer Healthcare in Whippany, NJ **Due December 20th**

Hello P3s,

Bayer Healthcare, in Whippany, NJ, is offering one, five-week APPE, in medical communications for Pitt Pharmacy students. The preceptor is Dr. Tara Pummer, Deputy Director of Medical Communications. She is a drug information specialist, and was faculty with us at Pitt Pharmacy prior to relocating to NJ. The description of the rotation is on E*Value.

She is able to precept one student on either block 3 or block 5.

Interested students should send their CV and letter of interest, and which block you would prefer, to Dr. Pummer at tara.pummer at bayer.com<mailto:tara.pummer at bayer.com>, by Friday, December 20th.  Bayer will select the students, and students will be notified by early January.  Please also let me/Dr. Pschirer know that you applied (and for which block).
