Hi everyone!

Each year, SNPhA participates with Duquesne SNPhA in the JDRF One Walk to raise money for research to help fight type 1 diabetes! This year’s walk is right around the corner, so I wanted to give some details on the event.

The JDRF Walk is on Saturday, September 21, 2019
Pre-Walk:

- Where: Meet at Panera on Forbes Ave. for breakfast

- When: 8:45 AM and leave for walk at 9:20 AM

Walk:

- Where: Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park

- When: Walk begins at 10 AM and ends around 11AM (2 mile walk)
- If you have cash donations, there will be a tent on Flagstaff that you may  turn those into once we get over there.

- If you raise enough money, you will be eligible for a JDRF One Walk T-shirt. These are given out at the check-in table. For those that earn this shirt, please let me know, and I will take you to the table with me when I check in.

Raffle:

- If you donate, you will be automatically entered into a raffle to win the following prizes:

- Kaplan PCAT Prep Book

- SNPhA T-shirts from past years

Donations:

- If you raise/donate $10, you will receive a Pitt SNPhA T-shirt

Last year, we raised $1,330! Each year, we strive to beat this goal. Therefore, this year’s goal is $1,350. Also, if you donate, you DO NOT have to attend the walk. If you have cash donations, I can get them from you and bring them to the walk (:
