Dear All,

Our names are Kimberly Wu and Dakota Rosenfelt, and we are the co-leads for the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship (RPIF) webinar series this fall. We would like to invite interested students to participate in our informational webinar series to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry. We would appreciate if you could distribute this information to all students at your pharmacy school or forward this information to the appropriate parties for distribution.

Our post-doctoral fellowship program is highly recognized and currently consists of 19 partner companies in the pharmaceutical industry. The Rutgers Fellowship program provides intensive, hands-on training to develop skills and experience in a variety of disciplines including clinical pharmacology, clinical research, regulatory affairs, medical information, medical affairs, market research, and marketing. These webinars are a great opportunity for candidates to learn more about industry, the RPIF program, and the Midyear application process.

Our first event will be a Facebook Live Q&A with current fellows. For all pharmacy students and PharmD graduates interested in pursuing a pharmaceutical industry fellowship, please tune into the Facebook Live event on Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30 PM (EST).

We would like to also encourage current P4s and PharmD graduates to attend FIND (Fellowship Information and Networking Day), which will be held on Friday, November 22nd at Rutgers in Piscataway, NJ. This will provide the opportunity to start the application process to the RPIF program before ASHP’s Clinical Midyear Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Please note that although the webinar series is open to all pharmacy students, the FIND event is only open to eligible PharmD 2020 candidates and current PharmDs.

Though additional email invitations will be sent out, we wanted to inform on upcoming webinar/important dates which have already been set:

1.    Fall Webinar - Thursday, 10/17 (8pm EST),

Audience: All PharmD Candidates and PharmDs Interested in Fellowships

2.    Midyear Bootcamp Webinar - Wednesday, 11/25 (Time TBD),

Audience: Those attending Midyear in pursuit of a Fellowship

3.    Rutgers Midyear Recruitment - Saturday, 12/7 through Tuesday, 12/10 in Las Vegas, NV
