Dear Professor Jonkman,

Hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to announce the 2019 UIP Summer Camp of Sichuan University. This year’s program is scheduled from June 30th to July 13th in Chengdu, China. The program, which has been successfully hosted since 2012, is aimed at promoting the culture-exchange and communication between local and oversea students, which might be a great opportunity for students in your institute to experience China.

Last year, we were glad to have eight students from the United States spending two weeks with us. This year, we are expecting 4 to 6 new faces to join us in the coming summer.

We offer partial financial support for students participating in the program. Accepted students would receive:
  - Domestic air ticket reimbursement: upto 3000 rmb/person
  - Two-week accommodation: worth 150 rmb/person/day
  - Two-week living allowance: 65 rmb/person/day
  - Local commute, tourism attractions tickets: 500 rmb/person
  - Insurance: 200 rmb/person

Attached are the program flyer with a brief introduction of West China School of Pharmacy, Sichuan University and Chengdu, as well as the application form. Students who are interested with the program can email their application form, CV, copies of transcript and passport info page directly to Prof. Qiantao Wang (uip_pharmacyscu at 163.com<mailto:uip_pharmacyscu at 163.com>) before April 5th, 2019. A short personal statement including why you are interested with the program and what you can bring to the program should also be included. (N.B., accepted students must follow the regulations of SCU during the camp. Violations may result the early termination of camp studentship.)
