 Hello all!

 APhA’s Operation Diabetes and SNPhA are collaborating to present the first diabetes lecture of this year on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:00 pm (Salk Hall - Room 456)! Please join us in welcoming Lori Bednarzi, a diabetes educator from UPMC, as she presents “Living with Type 1 Diabetes”. She will be demonstrating the use of insulin pens, insulin injections, glucagon injections, insulin pumps, CGM devices, and more! This will be a great opportunity to learn about a disease state that affects a large number of patients you will see in the future. Also, since it is essential to know how to use these devices as a future pharmacist, it will be an important learning experience for everyone.



This lecture is open to both undergraduate pre-pharmacy and graduate pharmacy students. We hope to see you there!
