Attached is information regarding our upcoming program, Advances in Cancer Immunotherapy. This is the sixth year we’ve hosted this program and it has received incredibly positive feedback from nurses, physicians and pharmacists who have attended. The program covers the basics of cancer immunotherapy; how to and when to use it in treating melanoma, lung cancer, GU cancers, hematologic malignancies and head and neck cancer; practical barriers in implementation; and most importantly, how to manage patients and the side effects/adverse events of the treatment.

Sanjiv S. Agarwala, MD of St. Luke’s Cancer Center and Temple University, Robert L. Ferris, MD, PhD of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, and Amy Schippers, PA-C of St. Luke’s University & Health Network, St. Luke’s Cancer Center are organizers of the program and they’ll be available to answer questions throughout the session. New this year, an interactive format and attendance is FREE for all those who work in clinical settings.
