Pharmacy students and faculty,



APhA Generation Rx is hosting a medical marijuana talk with Dr. Vrabel tomorrow, November 8th at 12 pm in Salk 402. Lauren Vrabel is a pharmacist at CY+ Medical Marijuana Dispensary in the Strip District. She will be discussing the qualifying conditions for medical marijuana, dosage forms, drug interactions and mechanisms of action of medical marijuana, how medical marijuana can help with the opioid epidemic, and the role of the pharmacist in medical marijuana dispensaries. This is a great opportunity to learn a lot about an up and coming therapeutic approach that was recently legalized in PA. I hope to see you all there!
