[Rx2021] P1 Readiness Assessment

Dear P1 students,

Hope that you all are well.  On Thursday, April 26th, you will complete the Readiness Assessment.    The Readiness Assessment is a knowledge and skills assessment administered to all P1 and P3 classes in the PharmD curriculum.  During this assessment, you will be asked to rotate through 5 stations, including a station for an electronic health record (EHR) review, multiple choice questions, virtual patient scenarios, mannequin model/standardized colleague interaction, and a standardized patient experience.  The assessment will take 30 minutes to complete and will be held at the WISER center.  This assessment is not something that you will be required to study for.  We ask that you simply show up and participate as you feel comfortable.  This assessment is meant for you to begin to practice the roles and responsibilities of an independent patient care provider.

Below are directions for creating individual accounts for the WISER website.
WISER: Contained in the file attached to this email are directions for creating your personal WISER account.  Creation of this account must be completed by Friday, April 20th.  An individualized arrival time for the Readiness Assessment will be provided for each student.  This time will be a 40-minute assignment within the hours of 8:00am-2:30pm.  The WISER center is located at 230 McKee Place, 4th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA. 15213.

Attached is the time that you have been assigned to complete the Readiness Assessment.  If for some reason it is necessary for you to change this time, please find someone amenable to a time switch and let Matt Freidhoff (mjf49 at pitt.edu<mailto:mjf49 at pitt.edu>) know by Friday, April 13th.
