Dear Students,
PHSI (Pharmacy Healthcare Solutions, Inc.) is looking to hire a pharmacy student who is currently in their 1st or 2nd professional year (expected graduation in 2020 or 2021) who is looking for a non-traditional pharmacy internship experience at our consulting firm.
Employee interns at PHSI assist pharmacists with a variety of consulting projects. Projects vary but may include assisting pharmacists with any of the following:

  * Analyzing trends in drug usage in local or regional pharmacy chains
  * Researching new pharmacy laws or legislation
  * Performing internet searches about new drug products or pricing
  * Conducting market research phone surveys for pharmaceutical manufacturers
  * Writing health literacy newsletters for managed care organizations
  * Completing a process from input to formatted output by following set instructions and checking your work
  * Performing weekly actions to edit or create data files that are used to support client projects by following instructions
Employee interns should be able to commit to roughly 16 to 24 hours per week during the summer months and a minimum of 6 to 12 hours per week during the school year. The hours would be worked during the 8:00am to 5:00pm business hours on location at the PHSI office. Past pharmacy experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Please Note: Intern hours gained while working at Pharmacy Healthcare Solutions are not applicable toward the state mandated hours necessary for licensure. This is due to the non-patient based nature of the work.
