[Salk Health Activist Fellowship]
The Jewish Healthcare Foundation, together with Health Careers Futures, is accepting applications for the 2018 Jonas Salk Health Activist Fellowship — an incubator for emerging health activists. If you or someone you know is a graduate or undergraduate student, or employee in a health-related discipline, please complete the online application at www.hcfutures.org/fellowships/salk<http://www.hcfutures.org/fellowships/salk> no later than Friday, September 7.
This is a unique opportunity to learn the skills and methods how to shape strategies to advocate effectively around a health issue about which you are passionate. At the conclusion of the Fellowship, you will have the opportunity to pitch your idea at the Health Activist Expo.
The Fellowship sessions take place on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm (dinner included) at the QI2T Center (650 Smithfield St., Suite 2600, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222), and select locations in the Pittsburgh community.
The 2018 Jonas Salk Health Activist Fellowships runs from September 25 – November 29.
