[Rx2021] Still Need Two Tech Resource Team Members

Hello P1 students!

I hope your journey towards becoming a PharmD has started off wonderfully. I’m writing as I ne3ed two volunteers and I hope you will consider and reply about this need.

PittPharmacy has a team of volunteer students called the Tech Resource Team, with two students from each professional class. The two students commit to stepping up and assisting the faculty and guest presenters if they are having difficulty with the classroom technology. We provide training, and I believe students in other classes have found this a pretty easy thing to do.

Here’s what it entails. If during a class, you see that the professor or presenter is having technical difficulty, you go over and ask the person if they would like some help. Ten you see what you can do to get past the technology glitch. Lastly, you report the issue to me, so that we can track problems and see if the IT department needs to do something to fix the problem or keep it from happening again.

If you would be interested in this very valued (all of the faculty really value this) volunteer position, please contact me. Once I have some students volunteer, I’ll get the training set up.
