Hi Everyone!

Operation OTC Medicine Safety, a Patient-Care Operation under APhA-ASP will be holding it's annual Training Session on Wednesday, September 27th at 12 PM in Room 456. If you would like to participate in the program this year, attending this session is mandatory. I realize that P2's have WISER that day on lower campus. We will make sure to finish the meeting early so you are not late. If you participated in events in the past, please still attend this session because we will be going over important updates and changes to the program. We are excited for another great year and hope to see many of you there! Our projects are IPPE approved and are a great and fun way to complete your hours. For P1's this is a great way to learn about OTC medications and gain experience working with the pediatric population.

If for some reason you cannot attend the session on Wednesday, September 27th but would still like to participate in the program, please email the gmail (pittmedsafety at gmail.com<mailto:pittmedsafety at gmail.com>) and we can set up other arrangements. However, we would really appreciate it if you could give it your best effort to attend this session!

We also would like open up applications for leadership positions.
This year, we are looking for one P1 Representative and ~6 Presentation Leaders. P1 Representative is an elect position, where you will train this year to hopefully be one of our Co-Operation Leaders next year. Presentation Leaders should be P2's or P3's who attended many events last year and feel comfortable leading the introduction, conclusion, and help with timing between stations at events. If you are interested in a position, please fill out the google form application by Wednesday, September, 13th. After reviewing the applications we will hold interviews for the P1 Representative between 9/15 - 9/21. Presentation Leaders will be chosen based off the google form (no interview) and we will hold an orientation meeting the week of 9/18 to get everyone up to speed for this year!
