Call for Proposals: 2018 MAG Summer Convention

As a follow-up to the ASEEES-MAG joint summer convention in 2016, the International Association for the Humanities (MAG) announces its own 2018 summer convention in Lviv, Ukraine. The summer convention is co-sponsored by ASEEES.
Proposals are welcome for panels, roundtables, and individual papers on any aspect of the Convention theme "Image of the Self" related to Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Practitioners and scholars in all fields with an interest in humanities are encouraged to participate. Submissions of pre-organized panels and roundtables are strongly encouraged and will be given priority in the selection process. Individual papers are also welcome.

Call for Nominations: 2018 ASEEES Distinguished Contributions Award
ASEEES Distinguished Contributions to Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies Award honors eminent members of the profession who have made major contributions to the field through scholarship of the highest quality, mentoring, leadership, and/or service to the profession. The prize is intended to recognize diverse contributions across the Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies field.
