2016 ASEEES BOARD ELECTION

We are pleased to announce the slate of candidates for the 2016 election for three (3) positions on the ASEEES Board of Directors: the Vice President/President-Elect and the two Members-at-Large, all serving three-year terms from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019. We thank them for their willingness to stand as candidates to serve on the ASEEES Board.

* Anne Lounsbery, Associate Professor and Chair of Russian and Slavic Studies, New York University

* Kristin Roth-Ey, Lecturer in Modern Russian History, University College London (UK)

* Dirk Uffelmann, Professor of Slavic Literatures and Cultures, University of Passau (Germany)

2016 ASEEES ANNUAL CONVENTION, WASHINGTON, DC

Preliminary Program
We are pleased to announce that the preliminary schedule for the 2016 ASEEES Annual Convention is now available at: www.aseees.org/convention/program<http://www.aseees.org/convention/program>

Click on the link "Go directly to the 2016 Convention program online" to see the searchable online schedule.  You can find your own panel/roundtable/meeting schedule(s) by entering your name or your panel/roundtable/meeting title in the Search box. You can also view the entire convention schedule grid under "Program Calendar" In the left navigation bar.  A PDF version of the preliminary program will be available on the convention website in late June.



Registration

ALL participants on panels/roundtables - session chairs, discussants, paper presenters and roundtable members, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, must pre-register and pay the registration fee: www.aseees.org/convention/registration<http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration>  The Early Registration Deadline is August 19, 2016.  Registration rates will go up after that date. Note: Session organizers are not considered "participants" and do not need to register if that is their only function and are not attending the convention.
