2015 ASEEES Annual Convention, Philadelphia, Nov. 19-22
The 2015 ASEEES Convention in Philadelphia promises to be a well-attended, lively event. The acceptance notifications were sent out on April 24. If you have not received a notification, please check your spam folder first and then contact Wendy Walker at wwalker at pitt.edu<mailto:wwalker at pitt.edu> We will post the preliminary schedule in mid-June.
REGISTRATION
The Convention registration is now open: http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration. The Early Registration Deadline is August 21.
MEMBERSHIP RULES & EXCEPTIONS
All participants on panels/roundtables who are in any related Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies in the US and abroad must be current ASEEES members. TRAVEL GRANTS
ASEEES is offering three travel grants for the convention this year - Davis Graduate Student Travel Grant (deadline: May 22), Regional Scholar Travel Grant (deadline: June 1), and the new Convention Opportunity Travel Grant (deadline: June 1). ASEEES Special Meeting of the Board
As previously announced, the ASEEES Board will hold a special meeting on May 11 to discuss the issues raised by Prof. David Ransel's Feb. 5 sign-on letter regarding the Cohen-Tucker Fellowship matter.
