Additionally, we had an incredible number of quality submissions for this year's prize competitions. Click here<http://aseees.org/news-events/aseees-news-feed/congratulations-winners-2014-aseees-prizes> for a complete list of the winners and those receiving honorable mention. The prize winners will be recognized during the ASEEES Annual Convention award ceremony on Saturday, November 22, 7:00pm, in San Antonio.
We are still looking for your news for the January NewsNet; please feel free to send along promotions, publications etc.
Finally, we are proud to partner with AWSS to host an upcoming webinar on networking. This webinar will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014, 2pm ET and will explore various kinds of networking available to scholars, including social media, professional organizations, and person-to-person contacts. The participants will address such questions as: Which kinds of networking are most useful, and for what purposes? How can junior scholars take advantage of networking opportunities to advance their research and scholarship? Which of the many available social media are particularly useful to scholars? To participate, please click through from http://aseees.org/programs/webinars to the registration page.
Finally, we offer members several methods to promote their scholarship and interests. Please contact me if you are interested in discussing research methodologies, fellowship opportunities, unique career paths etc via a webinar, member spotlight or blog post. We are happy to help you get the word out about your exciting work!
