UPCOMING WEBINAR-  It is not too late to sign up for ASEEES' next webinar, to be held Thursday, March 27 at 1pm EDT.  The University of Illinois' Slavic Reference Service, now in its 37th year, will describe the free services available to scholars who need particular items for their research, who need to verify citations for bibliographies and footnotes, who are looking for answers to specific questions, and/or who need information on particular social, economic, political, historical and other phenomena or on historical or current figures in a variety of fields of inquiry. A review of the Summer Research Laboratory will be included. Participants can use their computer's microphone and speakers or telephone. *         CONVENTION REGISTRATION: Convention registration is now open -  http://www.aseees.org/convention/registration .  All participants, without exception, must pre-register and pay the appropriate registration fee.  Register by Aug. 22 to receive discounted registration rate.

*         TRAVEL GRANTS: ASEEES offers two travel grants for the convention - Davis Graduate Student Travel Grant (deadline: April 15) and Regional Scholar Travel Grant (deadline: May 1).  For more information see http://www.aseees.org/convention/grants
