[ASEEES] ASEEES webinar series continues

ASEEES Webinar Series continues on Thurs, March 27, 1 PM - 2:15 PM EDT with a program hosted by the Slavic Reference Service (SRS).  Staff from the University of Illinois' Slavic Reference Service will describe the free services available to scholars and will highlight the Summer Research Laboratory.

Upcoming sessions:

April 24, 1 PM - 2PM EDT: "Embracing Change: Marketing Yourself for Employment Outside of the University Setting" In this webinar Mary Arnstein, ASEEES Communication Coordinator, will discuss approaches for academics and PhD students considering non-faculty positions. Participants will learn how to convert a CV to a resume and how to specifically tailor the resume to the job for which they are applying. Participants will also learn about employment options and sources for job postings.

May 22, 1 PM - 2PM EDT: Trevor Parry-Giles, National Communication Association Associate Director for Academic and Professional Affairs, will present information on the role and place of impact factors and journal citation indexes.

June 27, 1 PM - 2PM EDT: Matthew Ouimet, Kennan Institute Public Policy Scholar and U.S. Department of State Senior Analyst, will share information on paths to entering public service.
