Dear ASEEES Members:
The ASEEES 2013 Convention will take place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Nov. 21-24, 2013: http://www.aseees.org/convention.html . The convention theme is "Revolution".
The Call for Proposals is now open: http://www.aseees.org/convention/cfp.html You are strongly encouraged to submit the proposal online. The process has been simplified from the previous year's proposal. You can also send the proposal in Word format as an e-mail attachment.
The deadline for individual paper submissions is Dec. 17. Please note that the acceptance rate for individual paper submissions is lower than session submissions. We encourage everyone to submit a panel rather than individual papers.
The deadline for the panel/roundtable/meeting submissions is Jan. 15, 2013.
To assist in the process of forming panels, we have created the ASEEES 2013 Panel/Paper Wanted Board: http://www.aseees.org/convention/cfp.html#wanted We hope that you will find this board useful.
Before you start the submission process, please read the general rules for convention participants: http://www.aseees.org/convention/cfp.html#rules
Please note that ALL individual paper submitters and session organizers in the US and Abroad MUST be ASEEES members. Renew your membership today: http://www.aseees.org/membership/membershipindividual.html
All participants MUST have a profile and brief cv information on the ASEEES Members Site<https://netforum.avectra.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=aseees&WebCode=LoginRequired> before a submission can be made. Please ask your session participants to do this NOW. It is vitally important that they do not wait till the day of the deadline to enter this information as the data may not be available on the convention proposal site for 24 hours.
Again, please read all the information on the Call for Proposals page carefully: http://www.aseees.org/convention/cfp.html
We are delighted to announce that we have a new A-V policy for ASEEES 2013. We will be providing LCD projection setup for all panels and roundtables. Session participants must bring their own laptops. We will not offer any other a-v equipment. Therefore, you will no longer need to enter your a-v request in the proposal. We will provide more exact information on this page later: http://www.aseees.org/convention/program.html#AV
If you need any assistance, please contact Jonathon Swiderski, membership coordinator, at aseees at pitt.edu<mailto:aseees at pitt.edu>, or Wendy Walker, convention coordinator, at wwalker at pitt.edu<mailto:wwalker at pitt.edu>
