<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#444444">The University of Maryland School of Medicine has announced a major restructuring of its senior leadership positions to ensure that women are represented at the
highest levels of its leadership. The new Culture Transformation Initiative will be designed to transform the school’s culture into a “national model for a respectful, inclusive, and professional work environment.” Among the changes, several women in the organization
will be promoted to executive leadership positions, including chief operating officer, senior associate dean for medical student education, associate dean for medical student admissions, and associate dean for faculty affairs and cultural transformation.<br>
