Subject: Office of the Provost Seeking Nominations for Women in Academic Leadership Program


Women in Academic Leadership (WIN-AL) is a new Pitt program for full-time mid-career women faculty who are leaders or aspiring leaders at the University of Pittsburgh. Women face unique challenges in leadership roles, and the ultimate goal of WIN-AL is to provide women with the leadership skills necessary to advance in academia and achieve more success in their careers.

The Office of the Provost is seeking nominations for participants of a WIN-AL conference on May 2, 2019. To be most effective for those involved, the inaugural group will be limited to 20 women faculty. Tenured and non-tenure stream mid-career women faculty from all Pitt campuses are encouraged to apply.

Nominations will be accepted on a rolling basis, with preference given to applications received by noon on April 4, 2019. Program participants will be notified in mid April 2019. Please see the flyer below for additional details and the link to the nomination form.
