For those of you like me who can use only the most basic features of Excel, Word, etc... I just learned about this website today. You can access it by searching in my.pitt.edu and the login info is the same as your my.pitt.edu account. It has short and down-to-earth instructions on mastering many programs that we use daily- here's the description from the home page:

"We make online technology training available to all students, faculty, and staff through a partnership with lynda.com.  Lynda provides unlimited access to thousands of training videos on topics such as Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, digital photography, Web design, animation, blogging, video editing, and more. Students, faculty, and staff can create and share playlists, view videos on their mobile devices, bookmark helpful chapters in a video, keep track of their own personal course history, and earn certificates of completion upon finishing a course.  The service can also be accessed from any mobile device."
