Please see below for an invitation and an update about the Pitt HR website.

1. The Provost's Advisory Committee on Women's Concerns (PACWC) is doing something fun to "Celebrate Pitt Women" on Thursday, February 13, 2013 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Bria Walker, a Teaching Artist-in-Residence in our Department of Theatre Arts, and professional actress and singer, will present "NEXT!" During this presentation, she will speak about her journey to become an artist (i.e. actress, singer, dancer, writer and teaching artist), how she's still continuing to stretch herself and grow as an artist, and she'll perform an original writing and possibly something classical. Her bio follows this email.

This event is open to faculty, staff, post-docs, and students, and will be held on the Oakland campus. Please invite your colleagues to join you. If you plan to attend, RSVP at women at pitt.edu<mailto:women at pitt.edu> by February 4, 2013. The location of the venue will be announced to you via email.

2. Pitt's Human Resources website has been expanded to now offer the following resources:
Parents-To-Be and New Parents http://www.hr.pitt.edu/node/763
Caring for Family at All Stages of Life http://www.hr.pitt.edu/worklife-balance/family-care-all-stages-life

Please share this e-mail with your colleagues. If you prefer not to receive e-mails about PACWC and similar events, please reply that you wish to be removed from this distribution list.
