Subject: [Wisenet] Interested in sharing your story?

Dear Wisenetters,

It has come to my attention that 'someone' (see URL below) is wanting to write a book in which academic mothers can share their stories - they want both anecdotal and theoretical treatments of the experiences - no need to do both in the one article, I don't think.

Given the success of the Journal devoted to motherhood and careers, I thought some people may be interested in contributing. I thought it might be good if some people who contributed were not from USA, just to give it a wider appeal.

All details are found in this link, if you are interested. http://www.yorku.ca/arm/motheracademicCFP.pdf

Also, if a contributor to the Journal wanted to recycle an article they had written, what are the copyright implications? Is an acknowledgement of first publication sufficient?

d.
