<p>My name is Jazzkia Jones, and I am a second-year master’s student in the Higher Education program. During my two years in the School of Education, I have found that my strength for continued pursuit has come from the multiple connections and support I’ve
formed with other Womxn of Color across programs. This realization led me to the desire to form a Sister Circle, aimed at providing a safe and brave space for student Womxn of Color to share in an effort to support, empower, and commune with one another. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Housed within the Office of the Associate Dean of Equity and Justice, this initiative is student-led, and is open to all students (Master’s, Doctoral, Part-Time, etc.) who are womxn (gender conforming, non-conforming, and transgender) and identify as Black,
Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). The goal is to engage amongst our collective group through academic readings, pop culture critiques, and healing practices. <o:p></o:p></p>
