<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; color:#201F1E">Residents are able to gain valuable clinical experience in many of the hospital’s pharmacy-based clinics including immunizations, tobacco cessation, latent tuberculosis, contraception and sexually

 transmitted infections, cardiovascular risk reduction, and anticoagulation. Residents also have the opportunity to get clinical experience in Antimicrobial Stewardship, HIV and Hepatitis C, Rheumatology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Behavioral Health. Other

 learning opportunities at PIMC include participation in the P&T Committee, completing a medication use evaluation, drug information, and medical informatics. Residents also have the opportunity to earn a teaching certificate during the year.</span></p>
