Again this year, for the Class of 2020 who just recently graduated, the internship hours reporting requirement was WAIVED by the PA State Board of Pharmacy (SBOP). have their internship preceptors registered with the PA SBOP, and whether internship hours still need to be reported to the PA SBOP.

The waiver is not yet permanent, so you would not want to get caught at the end of P4 year without having any of your worked internship hours reported to the PA SBOP, if you have worked in PA
and/or wish to be licensed in PA. Additionally, there are 5-6 other states that still require internship hours to be reported for licensure examinations, so please continue to report hours to the PA SBOP, or your home state, if intern hours reporting is required
there. A “FAQ” (frequently asked question) slide deck is on the Home Page of eValue under “Forms and Reference Tools” that guides you on how to report your PA hours, and how to add/change a PA preceptor. Remember that you
must have a registered preceptor from your internship associated with you in PALS before your work hours can be reported to the SBOP. If you have listed me as your preceptor, please leave me listed there, and
add your work preceptor onto your account as soon as you can. The State Board is currently working remotely, so you may be able to email forms to them (versus mailing them). Check the SBOP website to see the most current processing procedure.
