<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Mission patches have been part of human spaceflight since the days of Project Mercury in the 1960s. We invite you to help design a mission
patch that will travel to the International Space Station (ISS) this summer along with two microgravity research experiments designed by student teams from the University of Pittsburgh Schools of Pharmacy and Engineering. On return to Earth, these Mission Patches
will have traveled 400,000 miles each day aboard ISS.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"> The winning mission patch design will be part of a very unique experience and will also be a symbol of the two student microgravity research </span><span style="color:black">experiments</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"> and
community collaboration. There will be opportunities for </span><span style="color:black">publicizing</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"> this across various media outlets which will be discussed in more detail. Requirements for the mission patch
are outlined below:</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
<span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#555555">A Mission Patch must be a piece of paper <strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">NO LARGER</span></strong> than 3.5-inch x 3.5-inch, and its design should reflect pride
in your community, and your participation in the SSEP.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
<span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#555555">There is no restriction on the type of paper or the inks to be used. <strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">But to fly, it must be paper not card stock or cardboard. Patches
submitted on card stock or cardboard will be (and have been) rejected.</span></strong></span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
