Regarding getting your own flu shot, Falk Clinic pharmacists can give you your flu shot if you have UPMC insurance. If you do not this insurance, there will be other flu vaccine clinics where you can get your vaccine within the next few weeks.

Hello Students,

Falk Clinic is hosting flu vaccine clinics starting Tuesday, September 15th, running Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, from 9am-4pm, for four weeks. They have asked for our help is running the clinics with student volunteers. You'd be helping with patient intake and also documentation in EPIC, the outpatient electronic health record.

If you are interested in volunteering for this for any part of the time, please contact Dr. Amanda Jaber Merranko at jabera at upmc.edu<mailto:jabera at upmc.edu>. This is also an opportunity to get your own flu shot.

(Volunteering for this activity should not be done during your class time.)

Thank you,
Prof. Skledar
