Hello Student Pharmacists,

The Region 2 Midyear Regional Meeting has been set for November 2-6 and registration is NOW OPEN! As a member, you’ll gain access to professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and career development all in an accessible, virtual format.

  *   Cost & Time: MRM is only $29.99 for members ($90 for non-members) to access 3 evenings of programming and 2 days of the career showcase. This year, programming will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:30 - 10 PM, and Career Showcase will be on Thursday and Friday from 2 - 4 PM & 5 -7 PM. The sessions are not mandatory, so you can pick and choose to attend the sessions that you find interesting and fit your schedule. The deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 26th at Midnight.

  *   Why you should consider attending (especially this year)!: This is a super low-stakes conferences to go to (you can log on from your bed or couch wearing PJs!) and there is NO travel involved so you are saving a ton on travel expenses and hotel costs. Also, if you are a member of E-board (including project leaders), you will be able to be reimbursed through Pitt Pharmacy.

  *   What will the programming and career fair look like? This year, #MRM2020 programming sessions will involve patient care projects,  networking, interviewing, and living in a virtual world as well as regional breakroom room sessions to network with other chapters. For the career showcase, the exhibitors should be available on each day during all the time blocks and you can choose what Zoom Breakout room to go to talk to a specific exhibitor.
